We at the Russian Dragon Association are getting a lot of questions concerning the boat transportation to the Russian Championship taking place in Saint-Petersburg this August. Some sailors are scared off by the complicated logistics and the customs formalities. The RDA advises foreign crews to consider services of Denis Prizkau, who specializes in such tranportations. It would cost you approximately 2000 Euro to transport the boat from Boltenhagen (Germany) to Saint-Petersburg (Russia), plus 2000 more to get it back. That is if the boat is transported by Denis. Price could be significantly lower if you decide to drive yourself (in such a case Denis might help with custom formalities and other logistic matters).

The RDA does not organize the transportation, we however, have been using Prizkau’s services for a long time and they prooved to be reliable and efficient.
