42-th international sailing regatta «Antigua Sailing Week - 2009» has started on the island of Antigua (Harbor Falmouth) on April, 25.
The first regatta, organized by the local yacht club - Anigua Yacht Club, was held in 1967 and attended by all 10 yachts. Now the number of participating yachts is over 200 boats.

This year the International Italian Dragon Cup was held from 27-29 March 2009 at the Yacht Club Sanremo, Italy. Thirty boats from eleven nations competed including 8 Italians and enjoyed sailing in hard conditions.
